These ingredients can be combined with two cups of white vinegar, 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper. Then after mixing these ingredients, spray it on the areas where the ants reside. The best method also to use is to brew the tea with the use of dried peppermint steeped in clean water and treat this mixture to the areas which have problems. One way also to repel ants is by leaving a cornmeal in which they reside.
Homemade sprays are also effective for garden pests especially for bugs, mites, aphids and some other kinds of bodied insects. To make a spray, mix one tablespoon of canola oil in three drops of soap with one quart of water. Then spray this mixture of the leaves of the affected plants to eliminate pests without toxins in it. To repel mites, it is also best to spray them with soap, water and a hot pepper sauce.
When it comes to Japanese beetles in the garden, vegetable rodents, and caterpillars, mix garlic, onion, cayenne pepper, hot sauce, and water. Spray the mixture to these pests. For the annoying aphids that harm the leaves of the plants, steep some lemon peel in the hot water for one night and spray it in the morning.
